Each year I am gifted anniversary photos. It would be fine with me if that was the only present I received, but there’s always a real gift, too. Photos have always been, and always will be so important to me. Luckily, Rudy knows that, and even though he might not want to spend the most beautiful spring afternoon on record taking photos, he does it anyways. We had to reschedule three or four times because of sickness, travel, and weird weather patterns, but finally, we really did get the perfect day.
This year was a little bit different, as we also used the photos as our maternity photoshoot! Even I wouldn’t think to ask for two separate shoots. 🙂 The other thing that was a little bit different, was the fact that I had this big belly in the way, so some of the poses we normally would do were much more difficult, or impossible! It did make for some good laughs, though.
I know that these anniversary pictures will be some of the most special that we ever take, because it captures that last little fleeting moment where it’s just us two.
Rudy, I can’t wait to begin this new journey of our marriage with you. Each day together has been more than I could ever imagined, and I know that each day to come will be even more. You’re going to make the best dad ever, and I know next year’s pictures with our little girl in them will be even more special than we could imagine today. Let’s do this!
